Where the Sky Touches the Earth, shown at Matucana 100 in Santiago, Chile, just finished its exhibition run from 03/13-04/21. The show is an expansion from its first exhibition at the Fitchburg Art Museum in 2019/2020, including an immersive, adobe and sound installation. “Where the sky touches the earth is a poetic expression that refers us to a clear and transparent image of northern Chile. It is where the blue of the sky merges with the different shades of brown, ochre, red and orange of the earth and the hills. It is where the desert has no end and we discover ourselves in our fragility and finitude.”
